About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Support Officer. In this role, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support the delivery of educational programs, assist students with additional needs, and help foster a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment. During your employment you will also complete study to obtain your Certificate III in Education Support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual and small group support to students under the guidance of teaching staff
• Assist in implementing lesson plans and learning activities
• Prepare and maintain classroom resources and materials
Requirements:
• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
