Agriculture Trainee
Certificate III in Agriculture | Full-time Traineeship
Location: Approx. 30 minutes outside Ballarat
BGT Jobs & Training Ballarat is seeking a motivated Agriculture Trainee to join a well-established and innovative goat dairy farm located just outside Ballarat. This full-time traineeship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing a Certificate III in Agriculture.
About the role
This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and with animals. You will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the farm, working five days per week with early morning starts, late afternoon split shifts, and some weekend morning work as required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Feeding and milking goats
- Assisting with general farm and property maintenance
- Supporting daily livestock care and farm operations
To be successful, you will:
- Hold a valid driver’s licence
- Enjoy early starts and physical, hands-on work
- Be available for some weekend mornings
- Have a genuine interest in agriculture and livestock
- Be reliable, motivated and willing to learn
- Commit to completing a Certificate III in Agriculture
