- Traineeship Location 30 minutes outside Ballarat
- Full-time role
- Traineeship in Certificate III in Agriculture
BGT are currently looking for an Agriculture trainee to support farming activities for a local property on the outskirts of Ballarat. All while working towards and completing a Certificate III in Agriculture.
This role will see you working early morning shifts, and late afternoon split shifts – 5 days per week, with the ability to work some weekend if required. You will be required to perform a variety of tasks including goat feeding and milking, as well as general farm maintenance. You will work with a friendly and supportive team, and as part of your on the job training, you will complete a nationally accredited qualification in Certificate III in Agriculture. The training will focus on developing your skills and knowledge in all aspects of farm operations to set you on the path for your career ahead.
To be successful in this role you must:
• Hold a valid driver’s licence
• Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude
• Enjoy an early morning start
• Must be available to work some weekends (Mornings)
• Enjoy hands-on work and working outdoors with livestock
• Be passionate about working in the agriculture industry
• Understand the importance of working in a team environment and value your own contribution to the team
• Have a passion for learning and personal growth to successfully complete your Certificate III in Agriculture during your traineeship
