About the Role
Working under the guidance of the Head Chef, you will:
- Assist in day-to-day kitchen operations across all areas of the venue.
- Prepare and present quality dishes with consistency and attention to detail.
- Support food preparation, ordering, and stock control processes.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Contribute to a positive and team-focused kitchen culture.
- This role will allow you to continue your Certificate III in Commercial Cookery training while gaining hands-on experience that will elevate your skills and confidence as a developing chef.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to bring:
- Previous experience as a first-year apprentice or equivalent kitchen experience.
- A genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- A positive attitude, great communication skills, and professional presentation.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings.
