Moorabool Shire Council is seeking a highly enthusiastic and motivated individual with an interest in local government and the democratic process of decision making.

Duties:

  • Provide high-quality administration support to the Governance and Civic support team.
  • Assist in the maintenance of governance systems and databases.
  • Conduct research and assist with the preparation of reports and submissions.
  • Provide appropriate and timely support in a challenging environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and the public.
  • Collaborate and communicate with team members to create an enthusiastic and motivated atmosphere where staff are results driven.
  • Assist with the preparation of Council meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Prioritise work to ensure activities, issues and enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Carry out additional tasks within your skill set as assigned by the Manager Governance and Civic Support.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of VCE completion.
  • Some tertiary study will be highly considered.
