Construction Induction Training (White Card)

Construction Induction Training (White Card)

Construction Induction training is a legal requirement that allows you:
  • to carry out construction work, including site managers and supervisors, labourers and trade persons
  • to access operational construction zones unaccompanied or not directly supervised by an inducted person

Our white card course covers:
  • OHS legislative requirements
  • Construction hazards and control measures
  • OHS communication and reporting procedures
  • OHS incident and response procedures
As well as valuable insight into the industry from our experienced trainer.

Upon course completion, you will receive:
  • Statement of attainment for the unit CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
  •  Victorian WorkSafe issued "White Card" in the mail

  • First and Third Wednesday of every month, 4pm till 9:30 pm
  • First and Third Saturday of every month, 9am till 2:30 pm

              $140 Concession Price (Must Present Valid Concession Card)                          $120 High School Student Price (Must Present Student ID Card)

Course Requirements
  1. Learners must be of working age in line with Victorian Legislative Requirements (Minimum 15 years of age) 
  2. Learners under the age of 18 require guardian permission to participate in this course. 
  3. BGT require a minimum number of participants in order for short courses to progress. We reserve the right to cancel and reschedule short courses based on the number of learners enrolled in the course. If a course is cancelled or reschedule all enrolled learners will be notified no later than 24 hours prior to the course commencement time.
  4. ​In order for a learner to be considered enrolled and confirmed within their short course we require:
    1. A complete enrolment form
    2. A valid medicare card, a valid form of photo ID
    3. Full payment must be made for the course.

Owner Builder Information
When applying for the Owner Builder licence, you will be required to provide a copy of your white card. The Victorian Building Association (VBA) do not accept Statement of Attainments.
