Welded Products

As part of the Certificate III Engineering Apprenticeship,  students are required to draw, mark out, cut out and manufacture a fire pit/fire wood rack, these tasks form part of the one of the units of competence requirement to be completed in the second half of their qualification. These products  are then sold and all funds generated  from these sales go directly back into the Industry Skills Centre for the purchase of materials and new equipment.

With the apprentices being involved with the above projects, it gives them a sense of purpose in being able to use their  acquired skills to contribute to the ongoing  success of the Industry Skills Centre.
