BGT Jobs & Training, in partnership with Creswick Neighbourhood Centre are currently looking for a business/administration trainee to play a vital role in reception and office duties at the Neighbourhood House located in the township of Creswick. CNC are an incorporated, registered charity and not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to community development and opportunities for our community.
 
About the role
With training provided (Certificate III Business), we seek a part-time trainee to carry out a reception/administration role, and to administer exceptional service, as the public facing team member to every valued community member. You will be required to welcome and assist all customers, to complete a range of office tasks, and to learn and implement administrative duties, so that all office functions are performed competently.
In the role, you will be central to the inclusive operation of the community centre, by providing a supportive environment where people can connect, learn and contribute to their local community through social, educational, recreational and support activities.
The part time position (approx. 20 hours) will be spread across 3 or 4 weekdays, and availability in the afternoons is desirable.
There is the potential of the role becoming full time for the right candidate.
 
About you
You should have an interest in community-based services and be motivated to learn a new career. You will need to be a friendly, organised, confident person with excellent communication skills, and a high level of customer service.
