BGT Jobs + Training Ballarat Board Observership Program
About
BGT Jobs & Training are proud to be launching their BGT Board Observership Program. The program will entail a participant undertaking a 12 month commitment to BGT, where they will gain first-hand exposure to the role of a Board, its operations and decision-making process. In addition, they will receive mentorship to develop skills/knowledge that they can hopefully take forward to other community organisations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a young person to enhance their skillset, and learn about how governance works in organisations such as ours. The participant will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the 12 months. It is also a chance for the BGT Board to diversify by including the views of a younger person in the membership.
See below for details of the program and eligibility criteria.
Potential candidates are required to submit applications themselves, however will need to have support from a current staff member of BGT. Applicants must also have interacted with BGT in some capacity, whether through training, employment or community services (either currently or within the past 5 years).
Please contact Graham McMahon at [email protected] with any further queries.
