With the roll out of the NDIS, there’s never been a more exciting time to be part of the disability sector.

Course Overview
Completing the Certificate IV in Disability will qualify you to become a Disability Support Worker who is responsible for supporting people living with a disability in a manner that empowers them to achieve great levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation and wellbeing.

  • Advocacy and empowerment
  • Follow safe work practices for direct client care
  • First Aid

Practical Placement
As part of your training you will be required to complete 120 hours of practical placement in the workplace.

Completing practical placement will:
  • Give you invaluable workplace experience
  • Maximise your employment prospects
  • Consolidate your learning
  • Give you exposure in the industry
  • Allow you to experience a career in a highly rewarding industry
Study Modes: Classroom based or FLEX study
Duration: 6-12 Months
Delivery: Part-time, 2 days per-week (excluding placement) or FLEX study
Start Date: Start anytime
