We are currently looking for an Apprenticeship Coordinator to join our Employment Services Department. The position of Apprenticeship Coordinator will be required to actively seek employment opportunities for applicants, while managing strong client relations with our host employers. You will work with a committed, professional and enthusiastic team to help find employment for predominately younger Ballarat locals.

At BGT Jobs + Training, we ensure that our apprentices and trainees have the resources and support they need to finish their training safely and successfully. You will support and guide our apprentices and trainees to be able to establish lasting careers in the industries which they choose.

As the Apprenticeship Coordinator you will work closely with management to contribute knowledge and ideas to grow the service and identify opportunities for enhanced service delivery.

To be successful in this role you must:

• High degree of experience in apprenticeship and traineeship systems and processes
• Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to the development and improvement of systems and processes to improve efficiency and quality
• Experience in Human Resources, Industrial Relations and Occupational Health & Safety
• Developed knowledge and experience of Group Training Organisations 
• Experience in client relationship building and management
• Experience in the management of apprentices and trainees
• A degree in business, marketing or relevant qualification/ experience is not essential, but is highly desirable
