At BGT we are obligated to provide a duty of care to all of our apprentices and trainees. We must ensure that their work environment is safe. BGT will conduct an OH&S workplace safety review with every host employer to ensure that the apprentice or trainees place of work is suitable. In consultation with the host business we identify what they can do to make their workplace as safe as possible and compliant.

What we do:

• Organise OH&S induction training for each apprentice and trainee this is available online
• Visit and review Host businesses to ensure compliance with the OH&S Worksafe legislation
• Consult with host businesses about OH&S maintenance ensuring BGT employees can safely carry out their responsibilities.
• Provide assistance and resourses to host businesses to implement and maintain OH&S systems in the workplace.
